Ross Adams marries longterm partner Phil [OK! Magazine]
Hollyoaks actor Ross Adams, who plays Scott Drinkwell in the soap, has opened up about his emotional wedding to his longterm partner Phil.
The soap star shared intimate details of their big day in the latest issue of OK! Magazine and admitted he nearly burst into tears when the couple held hands and said their vows.
But the ceremony – attended by his Hollyoaks co-stars including Nikki Sanderson – wasn't without its funny moments, with Ross telling the magazine: "Just before we walked in, the string quartet started playing Elbow’s One Day Like This as our entrance song.

"We both looked at each other, held hands and that was when I thought I am really going to burst into tears.
"We started walking and Phil was so nervous, he literally galloped down the aisle! I was like, slow down! It was hilarious."
His favourite moments on his big day was hearing former X Factor singer Rachel Adededji sing What About Love when the couple made their vows official and signed the marriage register.

The actor – who revealed his last minute wedding panic last month – explained: "When my best friend Caroline and Rachel Adedeji sang What About Love from The Color Purple musical as we signed the register, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
"But we want to really enjoy that first year or so of married life and have another holiday before we start thinking about starting a family."
